Call of Duty confirms return of iconic map and game modes in Black Ops 6 Season 3

Treyarch confirmed a Firing Range remake in Black Ops 6 Season 3 and announced the long-awaited return of Demolition and Sharpshooter.
After MW3 included every MW2 2009 map last year, Treyarch emphasized creating new 6v6 environments for BO6 instead. Out of the 27 maps in BO6 as of Season 2, there are only three maps from previous games: Nuketown, Hacienda, and Grind.
That’s set to change in Season 3 with the long-awaited return of Firing Range. Meanwhile, the devs have taken a similar approach with game modes. BO6 launched with most of the familiar favorites and has drip-fed a few other classics every seasonal update, like Prop Hunt and Gun Game.

Firing Range first appeared in the original Black Ops title and was later remade in BO3 and BO4, meaning it’s been seven years since we last saw the map. If you haven’t had the opportunity to play Firing Range, the map takes place at a military practice facility in Cuba.

Many Call of Duty veterans have Firing Range at the top of their all-time best map lists, and we expect the remake to be a favorite as well.
Demolition has appeared in almost every series entry since MW2 2009. It features the same general structure as Search and Destroy, with one team attacking and the other defending bomb sites.

Sharpshooter challenges six players in a free-for-all format to get as many kills as possible with a randomly selected starting weapon. Four consecutive kills earn a Perk, and the lobby gets a new random gun to use every 45 seconds until the 5-minute and 15-second match clock expires.
